Trails

The planned unique and diverse trail system of the Giba Gorge would cover about 190 acres. These trails range from short and easy to a two-day, overnight – camping trail. Intense education, in a fun way for children, mixed groups, and families could be offered, covering amongst others, close wildlife contact experiences.

Trails should also be designed for the overseas specialist visitor, wanting to experience our South African abundance of orchids, aloes, ferns, and butterflies. Specialised trails will cater to the child who wants to touch a baby duck, tortoise, nat, or chameleon. All trails are unique in their outlay, presentation, diversity as well as the level of positive involvement the visitor will experience.
